ShareGood new and bad news today. The bad news is that this is Murphy’s last post. Ever. The terms of my new contract left me no choice.
The good news is that Murphy’s been offered a job in Cupertino with your favorite fruit company.
Effective immediately, Murphy will finally put his degree in organic search assembly to use. Obviously I can’t tell you much about my project, this is Apple after all. But it involves combing web pages and gathering information and organizing it using systems you’ve probably never considered or dreamed of. It’s very exciting stuff.
Thanks for all the comments and emails since the site went up in 2006. It’s been fun.

I met Murph at a trade show many years ago. Back then all he could talk about was tricks with his DOS command line. I’ve followed his career and posts really carefully, but had no idea about the organic search assembly. I’d have pegged him for an ion cannon man.
